Hale Palekaiko receives AIA Honorable Mention - Residential Category

Peter Vincent Architects was honored with a AIA Honorable Mention Award in the Residential Category for Hale Palekaiko (House of Paradise) this past weekend. The design created a contemporary Hawaiian-style cluster of buildings featuring a two-story main house, guesthouse, pool, BBQ pavilion, and auto courtyard. 

 

"Of the residential projects, this house most successfully addressed its site conditions. By stringing out the program linearly it effectively mediated its access from the road to the water." - Juror comment

Hale Moku wins Hawaii Home + Remodel's AIA Editor's Choice Design Award

Hale Moku received Hawaii Home + Remodel's AIA Editor's Choice Design Award 2017 and is featured on the September 2017 cover of the magazine. This 2,314 SF residence features curved ceilings and many nautical details to capture a playful, yet sophisticated feel. LEED Platinum for Hale Hunakai in Kahala

 Hale Hunakai in Kahala has received the prestigious LEED Platinum certification by the USGBC. In cooperation with Mokulua High Performance Builders, the new residence features innovative design and construction elements.

Kelleher Joins PVA as Project Architect/Manager

Thomas Sean Kelleher, AIA has joined PVA as a Project Architect/Manager. Kelleher earned his B.A. in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Kelleher brings over 16 years experience in both residential and commercial architecture. Most recently he was the designer, fabricator, and installer of the "Gather Together" exhibit featured at Honolulu Hale as part of the 2017 Honolulu Biennium Celebration.
